"Exceptional customer service, nice remote cabin, backing onto nature and could hear the river from cabin. Private and quiet. Good location to walk to town or la fortuna waterfall if desired. Shower was ambient temperature. I was greeted with delicious pineapple juice and they accommodated my later checkout. Thank you so much. "

"Intimate hotel with a beautiful garden and premises, breakfast is provided at the front porch with incredible views of the mountains. Few people on staff, but very nice and helpful. Rooms are small, no TV, and little too warm on arrival, because A/C is off until unit is officially occupied. Perfect for the love birds or a couple seeking a quiet getaway. Near the city center (5 min away) where you can walk around, lots of places to eat and a supermarket to grab your snacks for the night! "

"Our room was very clean upon our arrival. The service that Katherine and Maria provided at front desk was fantastic. Staff in the restaurant were friendly, and attentive. The secure parking was convenient and reassuring. Loads of amenities for sports enthusiasts or those that just want to relax. Many different bird species on the site as well as some monkeys!"

"I loved staying at the La fortuna Lodge! We had breakfast included with our stay and it was delicious. The rooms and property were kept clean. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with any questions we had, they even helped us with ordering a shuttle to our next stay in Jaco. I would definitely love to stay here again. "
