「We had a great stay at Fortuna Retreat. Only notes would be that the room could be a bit cleaner (in the corners of the bathroom, behind furniture) and the view from the ground floor rooms is not as advertised- you can’t get a clear view of the volcano. Otherwise the staff were amazing, the pool was lovely and the grounds were extremely well kept with beautiful greenery.」

The two bedroom cabin was perfect for our family of 5, plenty of space to all sleep comfortably without being on top of each other. 「This home was exactly what we needed, close to downtown La Fortuna yet away from the noise. The house has 2 bedrooms with doble beds and TV’s and one loft with 2 twin beds. The bathroom has hot/cold water and the host provides shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. 「This hotel was so comfy, cozy and clean. The staff were so nice and spoke English. The room itself was beautiful walking outside to a tropical paradise. I didn’t get a chance to eat the breakfast because they came late with our food and we were expected to do a coffee tour at 8:00, but it was quite alright. The room and staff made up for that.
