Cleaning staff was great, the space is well thought out for the region and weather. The concierge helped me with navigating travel and booking activities. They set up various activity options and booked them all for me. Bauma staff, services and stay was wonderful. I would stay here again happily.

I was very impressed with how clean and taken care of Bauma was. & i'm pickie! The check in experience was a brezze - extremly easy and flexible. The hot tub was hot enough but not to hot. If you are wondering if you should stay at this property - Don’t. Its absolutely beautiful

This is one of the nicest places we have stayed! The bottle of wine and coffee left for us was a nice touch. Upstairs on the patio was private and perfect. Bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Bauma is a beautiful place to stay. It’s located on a quiet side street, but still close to restaurants/walking area. It’s within 20-30 min from many of the popular hiking activities. The room itself is very thoughtfully put together so you have everything you need (microwave, fridge, utensils, hot plate, coffee pot, robes, etc.). The bathroom is amazing. The patio and balcony offer nice outdoor relaxing spots. The grounds are covered with beautiful flowering plants. This is a 10/10 place to stay!

Love this place - it was modern and the room was very clean and had everything I needed for a great stay - great wifi, fridge, robes, etc. The space felt very quiet and private, like I had a little slice of jungle to myself with a view of Arenal from the rooftop deck. Great for people looking for a relaxing place to stay away from the crowds. And I felt safe as a solo female traveler. I had a car and Bauma was about 3 minutes from the main road through Fortuna, with a grocery store right on the corner. Convenient for grabbing water and snacks. There’s a coffee and chocolate tour place right across the street from Bauma with a coffee bar which was perfect for getting coffee before starting my day plans.

Everything about the villa was 🔥🔥🔥, from cleanliness, amenities and staff. This was an amazing birthday celebration. I was able to have private chef, backdrop with balloons and a private musician come for my birthday. The villa looks exactly like the pictures. I would definitely recommend Bauma Villa.

Such an amazing place to stay. Everything was clean and very friendly. Everything is communicated through whatsapp which is very common for country’s like Costa Rica, so be sure to download the app. Everything was a breeze. Long drive from the air port but very worth it me and my wife loved every second of being there. The morning views with coffee were amazing.
