"Had a wonderful stay here that exceeded all of our family’s expectations! This home is perched in the cloud forest, just a short walk from Monteverde. The home itself was like your own authentic biology field station tucked away in the jungle. As a fellow biologist, this is exactly what I was looking for! Our kids thought it was more like living in a movie set for some intrepid explorer! Raul was very helpful and accommodating during our check-in and check out and was such a pleasure to chat with. Lilian’s home cooked food was amazing and we had so many leftovers, that we hardly had to stock up on groceries during our stay-gave us more time to explore the property and the nearby Park trails! All in all, one of the best stays we had in Costa Rica! "

"This rustic cabin is fantastic to sleep six if people don’t mind sharing beds. The beauty and exposure to nature this property offers is amazing. Also, the host and the cook are both phenomenal people…probably my favourite souls met on this trip. The only caveat would be that nothing dries up there…so be ready for the living room futon to have been exposed to prolonged moisture causing it to have some mould. Free with the property is a pet coatimundi, agouti and about twenty or more hummingbirds…just don’t try to pet them."
