Staff were very nice and helpful . Owner was accommodative as well for some of our requests. Enjoyed healthy breakfast with fresh fruits , avacados ( sometimes ), eggs and bread toast and fresh juice . Little harder to find the place first time .

Good value for money for an hotel in Monteverde. Close to downtown (5 min walks). Outstanding personnel that will go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. For that alone this hotel is worth staying. Everything was clean and in working conditions. The beds could be upgraded (they are springs).

Nice experience in Monreverde

Our stay at Mountain Faro was made excellent by our host! She took excellent care of us, going out of her way to make our time in Monteverde special. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel was close to the rest of town!

Mountain Faro Hotel was a beautiful place to stay. Very nice simple breakfast. Very easy check-in! The parking spot was a bit tight but that is the only downside to this Hotel. It is within walking distance to restaurants nearby. I would recommend staying at this hotel! Thanks for a pleasant stay!!!

It’s a small hotel run by a family with 7-8 rooms total on 2 floors. The parking is very limited and challenging. The road to the hotel is not paved. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Not enough hot water and n bathroom. Breakfast is made to order by the owner. Usually eggs and fruits etc. the owner is very nice and welcoming and very helpful. Overall great stay. All attractions nearby.

This is a B&B, not a hotel. They have 7 or 8 rooms and 2 parking places. The B&B is in a residential area, and the road is not paved. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. We stayed in a family room with full queen beds and bunk beds (no railing on the top bunk, so probably out for younger kids). The breakfast was simple but good. Because they only have 3 tables and they cook it fresh for you, you may not be able to eat since many people schedule tours for the morning and need to eat about the same time. We had to go find something one day because there wasn't space available.

Lovely but steep climb

Excellent hotel but up a very steep hill and then an unmade road. You either need a car or be fit enough to climb the hill

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The property was on a dirt road in a residential part of town away from most shops but was a short walk into downtown. Rooms were relatively clean except there was a hair on one of the bed sheets. Floors were mopped each day which was helpful. Breakfast was light and simple.

Routes d'accès défoncées le bitume manque sur la route on roule directement sur les cailloux. L'hôtel était propre petit déjeuner correct mais la salle est petite. La responsable était à notre écoute pour nos demandes.
