"We were extremely pleased with our stay in AC by Marriott Hotel Honolulu. The hotel is located in a very good location if you are going on a cruise. It was a 20 minutes walk to the pier 2 cruise terminal from hotel. The hotel was not in a congested area. It was a quiet hotel and we got a good nights sleep, The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioner got the room cool. The area around hotel and the hotel itself was very clean. The staff was so friendly and helpful. "

"It was the perfect size for me and my spouse. There was construction happening during business hrs, but they weren’t too loud. We loved how close the cottage was to the beach. The lanai was the best part: eating our meals with the ocean breeze. If we had to complain about something, we would say that it does get warm in the cottage. We understand many places in hawaii don’t have ac units, so we knew what we had coming. We tried leaving all the windows open to let the air flow through, so it helped a little. Terrie is great with communication. Answered all our questions when needed. "

"This hotel was right by the airport for a long layover for us. Perfect sleep and shower and then catch our connecting flight. "

"My husband and really I enjoyed our weeklong stay here, away from the crowds of Honolulu and Waikiki. Some people said they thought the resort was crowded, but we didn't find that true for us (we went in June). It was definitely worth the hour+ drive to stay on the North Shore. We loved all the hiking trails on the property with many "hidden" beaches all to ourselves (and a couple of turtles). We made use of the free bicycles as well, and they also have horses for those who want to ride. Our room/bathroom were spacious and comfortable, and the food at Beach House by Roy Yamaguchi was especially delicious. We hope to make the trip again someday! "

"This was a wonderful and affordable place to stay on Oʻahu’s North Shore. While the building is older, it’s well maintained and offers a peaceful, laid-back atmosphere that feels like classic Hawaii.The highlight is definitely the beach—calm, uncrowded, and perfect for kids. The waves break far out, leaving the shoreline waters tranquil for swimming or just relaxing in the sun. It’s also a great home base, with many of Oʻahu’s scenic spots and cultural attractions just a short drive away.The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a generous living area, full kitchen, and plenty of room to stretch out. There was an ample supply of towels, sheets, and even beach towels provided. The beach chairs were a great and appreciated surprise. One downside is that the bedroom faces the highway, and you can hear cars passing by throughout the night. This obviously isn't in the owners control, but something to consider. We ended up sleeping on the pullout couch facing the ocean, which actually made for a great night’s rest with the sound of the waves, and a peaceful morning waking up to a beautiful sunrise and coffee on the lanai.Security is very good, and the property feels safe and welcoming. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly, beachfront stay that gives you a taste of local life away from the big resorts, this is a great value. We’d definitely come back!"

"It’s a great place for a small family. There was four of us and it worked well especially with the kids being younger. We were only there to eat and sleep, so it worked. It’s a little more of a drive to restaurants and activities. We are always wanting to stay away from the bigger city and this was perfect. Great location with access to the beach. Had some basic beach equipment available to use. Hoping for future visits able to stay here again. "
