「I knew this was a historical building prior to the trip. I was thinking quaint b&b but after seeing the property, I realized that was not an accurate description. The best part of this property was it was very inexpensive compared to others in the area and it is in a very great location. I booked the Melville house and upon arriving our room was not ready because we arrived early, which was fine and we were certainly willing to wait. However the lady at the front desk offered another room and...

「We truly enjoyed our stay at Hilltop Inn. The Inn and our room were beautiful, clean and cozy. Liz was super friendly and helpful, and no details were missed. We enjoyed the daily breakfast, snacks, boardgames, and hot tea in the afternoon! Close walking distance to the wharf - but im assuming the Hilltop name was a nod to thier location - it's uphill from the Wharf! Would highly recommend!」

「Had the most wonderful stay here, amazing staff and catered for our gluten free requirement with a delicious, huge breakfast. Extremely comfy bed with beautiful decor, and effective air conditioning. Walking distance to the best, most vibrant area of Newport. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We would recommend emailing with any special requests separately as they did not seem to be receiving messages we sent through Expedia.」
