"Excellent customer service. Comfortable bed, large, clean room. Beautiful view and grounds. Lots of amenities- binoculars and bicycles available to be lent. It was our anniversary and a bottle of nice wine was sent to our room for us. All the staff, friendly and helpful. We really loved our stay. We will go again. We had dinner at Drake‘s restaurant. The food was pretty good, but the service was below the standard one would expect. Very slow to take our order, time between courses was way too long and they forgot part of order. I noticed the table next to us at the same problem. Cocktails took forever to be delivered. Our waiter was not especially interested in providing good service. However, the View was very nice. "

"The place is super old. No TV’s in rooms, the bathroom was awful. Linoleum coming up by base of toilet and close to the front and back wall. Super small bathrooms and toilets don’t work well. There’s not much privacy except a door. Cute town and area but we are NEVER going back. Staff is pretty much absent. No phones in the room either. Spent way too much money here and hoping no one else does. They need upgrades before they let people stay here. Place is just too old. "

"There’s hardly any water up stairs the shower doesn’t work at all. Threshold into upstairs bedroom isn’t attached caused me to trip heated was up at 85 degrees when we got here took forever to cool off zero water pressure"

"Beautiful views. Kitchen is very well stocked. The living room was large. Seating was comfortable and not too fussy that a family with young children would have to worry. There were a few minor issues. The bed in the master bedroom was a bit too tall for us. There is a stool to help you get in. The screen for the back slider is hard to open. There were a lot of rules in the rental agreement. It was a little intimidating but turned out to be fine. "
