「Disappointing. Bathroom fan did not work, no shampoo, and luggage rack holder was broken. Looked like minimal renovations were done, mostly cosmetic. Very noisy! You could hear people upstairs walking around, sounded like a herd of elephants. Also housekeeping staff were loading up their carts, talking loud, and banging things around in the morning. So much for sleeping in. Do not recommend for the price.」

「The good: This hotel is beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. The room was comfortable and, the first night, very quiet. The tiny town is charming, an architectural throwback. Nice bakery across the street. The not so good: The hotel has no staff on site - literally never saw an employee. Since I had no cell phone service in the entire area and the hotel has no landline phones accessible by guests, the only way to communicate was via internet.
