「The house was great! We never wanted to leave the beautiful porch. Quiet neighborhood, quick walk to the beach and short drive to town. 」

Our grandchildren did enjoy fishing and kayaking, but it would have been fun to spend hours doing everything.The house was immaculate and the owners so communicative. 「Pros: PERFECT location steps from the beach; three bedrooms; quirky vintage experience. Cons: as seen in photos and other reviews, this is a well loved well used very old beach cottage. While cosmetic stuff didn’t matter to us (e.g. backyard is dingy w broken toys and grills), some functional problems were annoying (kitchen sink doesn’t drain and we tried cleaning the trap and it didn’t help; one shower, once turned on, wouldn’t turn off). 「There's no other residence in sight from this lovely, quiet, waterfront setting just a mile from town. The house is vintage in all ways (except for one minisplit), a delightful step back in time. This includes the very basic and cramped kitchen, which was fine with us. We still did plenty of cooking and happily washed our own dishes--again, an old-school vacation.
