Log Cabin with loft

This is the real McCoy! Hand hewed logs built from two, 100 year old tobacco barns and other recycled materials, this cabin looks rustic while covering the bases. Ample 500 sq. feet open floor plan provides sleeping loft with queen bed, kitchenette featuring a red cedar counter top, oak dinette, coffee maker, mini fridge and microwave. Sitting area has ample seating in front of a rock fireplace. A sleeping corner holds a queen bed topped with antique hand made quilt. Bathroom houses quaint "sheep waterer" shower. Furnished with vintage bits and bobs the decor is a feast for the imagination. Outdoor fire pit area includes chairs and a gas cooking grill. Very private without being isolated our cabin nests on seven acres along side our home and flower farm, located within minutes of Jordan Lake State Recreational Area, downtown Pittsboro as well as Apex and Carrboro/ Chapel Hill.-Go Heels!

We absolutely loved our stay! We were in town for a wedding, and this was the perfect place to stay a few days. The host is very friendly and responsive. The cabin is a treat for the eyes, so thoughtfully decorated and put together!! Wonderful experience for us and our 2 teen boys. What a fun stay for two longtime friends to reconnect. Cabin provided good beds, comfortable sitting areas, and adequate kitchen area for our breakfasts and lunches. Nearby Pittsboro offered tasty meals and sightseeing.

We really enjoyed our stay at Blackberry Cabin. Trish greeted us upon arrival and explained to us some of the features of the cabin. It was obvious that a great deal of thought, love and hard work went into making the space comfortable and inviting. The location is very near to Historic Pittsboro, Chapel Hill and Jordon Lake. We were there to visit family members who live nearby and hope to return again in the future.

Unc hideaway

Nice and clean little cabin. We have stayed twice and it is so convenient to get to Chapel Hill to attend football games with our Son. We love Tricia she is very accommodating and make check in so easy!

Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed two nights in this fun, quirky cabin. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay Nearby Pittsboro is a delightful small town with a surprising number of shops and restaurants. We had a great dinner at Doherty"s Irish Pub. One night we relaxed with a fire in the firepit located just outside the cabin. The owner was very responsive and helpful. This is a great spot to relax and explore the surrounding areas.

Excellent night at this cozy, quiet , nostalgic cabin! It’s hard to believe that this peaceful cabin is only 15 minutes from Chapel Hill. The cleanliness was immaculate! It’s decorated so peacefully! I wish we had more time to enjoy! I will definitely try to book here in the future!
