Starting in the last week of July and lasting ten days, the village festival takes place, where you can sample typical local Umbrian specialties: scottadito lamb, wild boar stew, pappardelle with wild boar sauce, umbricelli with goose sauce, the famous Umbrian “torte al testo,” and many other specialties! The town is in a festive mood. You won’t get much sleep, but you’ll have a great time listening to good music, admiring the medieval tower and the town walls illuminated under a clear, starry sky... a truly evocative spectacle.
