"We really enjoyed the uniqueness of the apartment as well as the location. We had our two daughters with us (19 and 25), the bedrooms were a little tight, but we understood that would be the case when we booked. The check-in process was a bit tedious (first time I've had to send pictures of the water and electric meter before and after a stay). "We loved this property. We were looking for something authentic and this was definitely it. This apartment had lots of character and ambience. it was well equipped for cooking and living. We loved the spiral staircase and the bedroom on the upper level. We also built a fire in the outdoor fireplace. The grocery store up the street was fantastic along with the fact that it had fill your own bottle of red or white wine."

"Corona is a charming village high in the mountains outside Lugano. We loved our stay in this spacious and comfortable house. It has a spectacular view of the mountains and Lake Lugano. The village has a charming church, shops, many ancient houses, a few hotels, and a large swimming pool open to the public. Nearby are hiking trails in all directions. It is perfect for a family vacation."

"Pianello is a small town with a couple of good restaurants and a wonderful bar. A lake ferry stop there as well for exploring other towns in Lake Como. The view for the balcony is fantastic. The kitchen is well required and the beds are comfortable. Communication with Paola was excellent. I highly recommend this place."

"Cosy small and practical (there's even bedsheets and towels) mountain house. The 30 minutes mountain road to get to the lake was not a problem for us, the view from the road is absolutely stunning. For hikers there are multiples options directly from the house. Despite being quite isolated, the village is populated."

"We enjoyed the house and the location. The 150 stair steps between the parking and the house are really for fit people, and travelling light is highly recommended. However, once you are up, you really appreciate the view and the calm. You can appreciate a comfortable house in pure sixties style, very cool. The house has no A/C so it was painfully hot inside and humid. the must in the basement room was gross, there is a dehumidifier but it didnt help. if you leave the windows open to get a breeze expect a lot of bugs including mosquitoes. the basement walls are styrophome. dont ask me where they get it but i wouldnt have little kids around it for fear they would mess with it. furniture: the couch on the first floor is a "pull out...

Every morning we enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the balcony with views of the lake. You have to walk roughly 4 to 5 minutes down to a carpark where you can catch a small train to Bellagio town centre. I would recommend this property to anyone. We found it wonderful. "
