「The accommodation is located in a charming historic building in a great vibrant village-like town. The interior space has a mid mod vibe, and is spacious, and easy to use. Had a nice dinner, as recommended, a nice walk to the waterfront and a nice ice cream. Pretty perfect! 」

But the Martin Inn has changed my mind from the gardens to the room the Martin inn is far above any inn I have stayed at in the past and it is not that far of a walk from downtown Portsmouth. The Martin inn has off street parking in the back as you walk to your room you go through a wonderfully kept garden which made my wife jealous. There was a strong sewer odor in the room when we walked in on the second day after being away all day. We opened the windows and cleared it out. There is a plumbing vent problem which should be looked at.
