"This place is a hidden gem! It's a little motel north of the craze of the main strip and quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for. Run by truly nice folks, located across the beach, and great rooms at fantastic pricing! What more to say? We stayed in a 1 room studio w/oceanside balcony, toaster oven, microwave, 3 hot plates for cooking, fridge and a HUGE comfy king-size bed. Parking is included and located right between the beach and the hotel. I highly recommend it and we'll be back for sure!!!!"

Ocean Surf at York Beach

"Room was clean, Staff had this service as the Staff were pleasant but did not have a clue of any questions we asked. Front desk was very inexperienced and not very well informed of the area. Website deceiving stating the beach was 0.3 of a mile away. It was more like a 15/20 walk to get to a convenient safe portion of the beach without climbing over a zillion huge (extremely dangerous) rocks to get to the water. Pool was nice, but website mentioned an outdoor pool bar. The bar was nowhere near to be opened. Our balcony was the only balcony with dirty, horribly dangerous chairs to get in and out of. Stairs going to and from 3rd floor has major spider webs and mold on the stairs. This property should never should have been open the customers. We booked a 2 night stay and were asked for the 2 night resort fee, but our room keys logged us in for a one night stay. Had to go to the office after walking up 3 flights of stairs. Came back to an unclean room as well. "

"We enjoyed our stay at your hotel. The room was comfortable and clean and had a great view of the ocean. Close proximity to the sea made our stay even more enjoyable. Beautiful sunrise and great sidewalk for walking. Staff were friendly and helpful. Most especially we enjoyed the indoor pool. Great spot to meet new people."
