「Probably the worst sleep I have had in a hotel room ever. The pillows were weirdly very lumpy and uncomfortable to sleep on, so I ended up not using them at all. The bed was very firm and uncomfortable. There was a lot of noise in the hallways and from the streets outside including a couple of emergency vehicle sirens at night, making it even more difficult to fall asleep. I finally had to get up and put in my ear plugs which I usually pack just in case. We had a non-smoking room which was...

「A new building designed in the style of colonial era homes. Larry and Patricia were terrific hosts. Breakfast was made to order and amazing, including biscuits made according to Larry’s grandmother’s recipe. Comfy bed, plush towels. The dimmer switches for the lights are a great touch. Plenty of parking, nice large backyard with tons of birds. Remote location so it’s nice and quiet. Absolutely would stay here again! 」

「I can't say enough about this "hotel" - it's not a hotel or motel. It's a boutique-y type place that feels like independent cottages. I love this place - very clean, updated rooms inside and history all on the outside, which is so fitting for Williamsburg. And Colonial Williamsburg is conveniently nearby. The beds and pillows are super comfortable. The shower/water pressure is fantastic. The TV screen is large and offers a ton of channels. The grounds are impeccably kept. And the staff...
