We had a great time and owner was quick to respond to any questions and even followed up to insure everything was OK. We would all love to come back again some day. "We loved the cabin. The accommodations were perfect for our adult children, my wife and myself. Gary was very up-front with any minor inconveniences, which were really nothing at all - honestly, they were no bother whatsoever. The cabin was located high enough and far enough above and away from everything to see what we came for: the starry night sky with a bonfire and the sound of crickets and peepers. We really couldn't ask for any more.With that in mind, we were ASKED to make suggestions, and since my wife and I have been spoiled rotten with some cabins up in the Adirondacks which have been around for decades, I thought we would offer some suggestions for what to put in the empty drawers and cabinets. My wife suggested that a couple baking sheets, for things like frozen french fries or whatever, just in case other plans fall through. I noticed that the grill scrubber was pretty much worn out, so I grabbed an inexpensive grill scouring pad and left it there. We also left a roll of inexpensive aluminum foil. Otherwise, the cabin kitchen was pretty well equipped!One final note for anyone with sensitive skin: if you already have issues with this I'm sure you probably come prepared yourself, but just keep in mind that the linens were very clean - but scented with a dryer booster of some kind, I think. Not an issue for most but as I have had issues I thought I would mention it for future guests.But it was a great stay and we enjoyed it a lot. But man, what a dusty road!"

"The room was very clean. It was right off the road so there was the noise of traffic. It also is right above the restaurant outdoor dining/bar area and it looks like there is live music there often so that may be unappealing for people looking for a quiet lake getaway. There is an excellent restaurant on site with beach front tables and a marina. It looks like it gets very busy there on weekends with boat traffic and tourists. No central office so check-in was at the bar. Overall a very nice place to stay."
