「Took a quick weekend getaway with my pup, the home is very comfortable and cozy and rustic which is just up my alley! Really enjoyed the solitude but felt quite safe if there were any surprises. Very nice hiking trails within 20-30 min drive, but there’s also a lot of nature and exploration opportunities on the property so it’s really unnecessary to leave at all if you have your food. Highly recommend!」

「Such a unique experience. Gave a weekend stay to my family of boys who love The Hobbit and anything adventure. The set up inside is so cozy and we loved having the fireplace outside. They really thought of everything to make our winter stay cozy and enjoyable. Enjoyed being close to the ski slopes as well so great location for that and some good restaurants nearby but feel somewhat secluded when you’re at the house which was nice. 」

「Enjoyed staying in this brand new home on a ridge overlooking Lake James. The home was spacious and modern, but also warm and inviting to sit and look out the big windows while gathered for a meal. A bonus was the private dock which provided nice access to Lake James. Everyone has a nice space to spread out, but also a great place for family and friends to spend time together.」

「We stayed here over spring break with a large family group—my family of four, my sister's family of four, our grandparents, and our aunt. Communication with the host was excellent—clear, prompt, and helpful. Check-in was seamless, and the home was easy to find using GPS.As noted in the listing, the driveway is steep, but both our vehicles (a Chevy Suburban and a Chrysler Pacifica) handled it with no issues. The home itself was exactly as described and looked just like the photos—if not better....
