We had a lot of communication with the host before and after arrival. The Haus was lovely, quaint and just what we needed to get away from the usual chain hotels. The Haus was clean and very comfortable and had a good range of amenities. The view at sunset was great and we enjoyed sitting on the veranda. We did not use the kitchen facilities, although they appeared more the adequate. All in all this is a lovely hideaway and well worth a visit if you are driving the Blue Ridge Parkway.

A Home Away From Home We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at the Edelweiss. It seemed like all our needs and wants were anticipated and when we needed something the owner was there in minutes to help us out. The apartment was clean and well provisioned. The view of the mountains was breathtaking. We are planning to staying here anytime we are visiting Little Switzerland.

This was the perfect place to stay! Conveniently located and easy to find near the Blue Ridge Parkway and Wild Acres Retreat. The setting was beautiful, the bed super comfy and had all the comforts of home! I had a weeklong retreat at Wild Acres and didn't want to stay in the dorm-like lodges there. This was the perfect alternative, less then 15-minute drive each way and loved having a comfy bed to unwind in each night. Judith was amazing to communicate with before my stay, provided all the info I need, was super quick to respond to my question, and I was able to add on an additional day to my stay at the last minute. I highly recommend this guest suite and will hopefully be staying there again next year for the next retreat!

Great vacation.

The property is great, well maintained with a wonderful view. Being form the low country of SC where it is not only hot but also humid it was great to get fresh air. The owners are very cordial and pleasant. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Little Switzerland, NC

My husband and I spent two nights in the Little Switzerland Guess House during the height of the fall color season. Our host was especially helpful, giving us information on the most scenic hikes and mountain views to take full advantage of the fall scenery. She also had some really good restaurant recommendations! We loved our short stay and look forward to visiting again!!
