"I arrived late at night. I simply picked up a phone by the door, and a nice gentleman came to check me in. I received my door key, and went to the room. This is the first hotel I have ever felt fine enough to walk around without socks on. The entire room was very clean. The area was quiet until morning around 7AM, but until then, silent. The heat worked great, the pillows were nice and comfortable, the bed was comfortable; I have no complaints regarding my stay at this hotel. I most definitely will be staying here again in the future. Thank you so much to the owners, for being so kind, friendly, and caring about the rooms the way you do. "

"We have been visiting the North Carolina/Virginia mountains for years.This vaca was absolutely epic/perfect. Beautiful weather with a Full Moon. It truly is all about the cabin and “The View “. Cabin was first class beautifully decorated. The magnificint view was always changing. The Biltmore Mansion was all decorated for the Hoildays.Visited several winerys. We will indeed return. We truly thank you for our incredible stay... "

"We had a Wonderful and Relaxing stay at the Fox and Hen! The hosts provided so many comforting things. When we would think of something we might need, it was already there. The detailed instructions that were given in advance to enter the home, use the hot tub, fireplace, places to hike and restaurants to visit, etc were very helpful. Great attention to detail! The comfort of the entire home and the views from the home, back deck of the mountains were above and beyond Gorgeous! Warm, cozy, inviting and lovely would describe this Fantastic get away! My added favorite part was using my 4x4 to navigate the roads to the home...so FUN! Thank you for sharing your Lovely Home, Hospitality, Kindness and Generosity! We cannot thank you enough! We look forward to bringing out family here one day. "

"Property was very clean. Host was readily available upon contacting. The upkeep of house was amazing. Nothing was broken or missing. It felt like a brand new home. We had plenty to entertain us. We also had plenty of room to spread out if we wanted quiet time. We crafted many great meals in the nicely stocked kitchen. Perfect home for us."
