We've been going to Little Switzerland forever, but this was our first time staying at their cabin! We loved having the option of cooking our own meals sometimes, and we just loved the cozy, cabin-style feel with the bears and quilts. We also really appreciated the private fire pit and the extra room for our dog. The owner and his pups were incredibly welcoming.
Perfect host. We had such a lovely time ,si is our pup, playing constantly with their adorable two dogs. Beautiful setting, cute little swiss theme cabin. We gladly will return! Thank you
Really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was clean, organized, and well-appointed so that we would be instantly comfortable. The location was excellent for hiking down to the village or driving out for further excursions. We would absolutely stay again.
The cabin has charm and had thoughtful amenities like multiple charging stations, kitchen basics, and firewood (not used in July, but would have been delightful in autumn and winter).Jeff was helpful, friendly, and responsive. Kathleen has an enchanting garden that the cabin overlooks.
Another wonderful family stay at Ginny’s cabin! Enjoyed a nice evening at the fire pit with property owners. And always nice to hang with the resident pets. We will definitely return.
Charming, well-stocked rustic cabin in a beautiful area. Not a fan of the blind gravel driveway, especially with the rainy weather we experienced, but not a dealbreaker. Jeff was a helpful and responsive host, and we appreciated the welcome wine and s’more ingredients. There were plenty of blankets, space heaters, and a fireplace to help stay warm, and the sunroom, outdoor grill area and firepit would’ve been put to good use if the sun had cooperated. Enjoyed meeting the friendly pups, too!
We celebrated a beautiful and relaxing Thanksgiving at Ginny's Cabin. Loved the decor! Loved the fireplace. We were lucky to meet our host Jeff...great host. Felt very welcomed.
Very charming, cozy and private cottage decorated perfectly for the mountains! The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking a special meal. The gas grill did great!
Thank you to our gracious host!
Very well kept and the property has everything you need. Fun stuff in the loft for the littles to keep them busy. The owner was very easy to communicate with. The pups were comfortable as well! Great find!
The “Ginny” has true cabin charm. The host, Jeff, thought if everything. We had one small issue and he responded right away. We loved the fireplace most, firewood is provided galore!
Relaxing stay in an authentic cabin, top faves were the fireplace, goodies left by our generous host and all the extra blankets to keep you cozy. The grill is under a covered porch. Location is perfect to the gem mine, conservatory and Little Switzerland is right down the road. If you are looking for an authentic cabin feel close to activities this is it.
We celebrated a cozy and comfy New Year’s Eve in Ginny’s Cabin. Jeff was most gracious and hospitable. The cabin was rustic, yet well-appointed. The hearth and fireplace was my favorite spot to be. Little Switzerland is a gem of a community, and the peaceful environment was the perfect settling for a restful respite. Highly recommend for a sweet and cozy weekend surrounded by historical charm and the most fabulous quilts.
We were looking for a rustic but comfortable cabin to have a technology free outing with our young teens. Even though this space had tv, internet, and cell service, we didn’t use them and it was awesome. The kids even survived and our stay flew by with family games, time in the kitchen and actual face to face conversation. This was a time capsule with modern comforts and a very thoughtful host. We have only been home for a day but already talked about staying again.
Lots of wonderful extras! Had a relaxing stay in this quaint mountain cabin with hubby and our 2 begal dogs. Felt right at home with everything we needed!!
