「I have done vacation rentals in Pawleys Plantation many times and the location is wonderful. It is a beautiful gated community. This was the first time that I had to drive to pick up keys to a rental unit. It was 7 miles one way north of Pawleys plantation which was a 14 mile trip added to our already 6 hr. drive which was an inconvenience. 「Lichfield is the perfect location for families who want to spend time at the beach, the pool, and explore PI, MI, Gtown, etc. The check in process was very easy, room was ready on time, etc. The property is in decent shape and is just fine for a beach vacation. One of the bathrooms was not cleaned properly. It wasn't gross, but it had obviously been forgotten. Floor and toilet had not been cleaned after previous guests. 「A wonderful spot on the lake. Peace and quiet. I gave the check in 5 stars because we checked in mid week and we were the only ones checking in. One a weekend, we have seen long lines out of the door. The 4 stars for cleanliness is because the porch furniture was not clean. Not a deal breaker though. Everything else was spotless..We thoroughly enjoyed out stay. 」

「This was a great vacation for my family, and our first time together at a beach. The beach was a short 4 minute drive from our location, and there were private pools very close to us also. There were some dust bunnies under furniture, but nothing too crazy at all. The beds don't have a box spring, so the mattress directly on the base boards were a little uncomfortable, but again this wasn't a huge deal either.
