"Inside of the room is very nice. Everything is good for the price. You can sleep well, nice a/c, microwave and they have free ice cubes. Outside is not the best maintained, looks a bit dirty, like the leaf around and cigarettes. But is very minor. Nice staff too. Very reasonable and I always felt safe in the place"

"Beautiful cabin and grounds. Surprisingly cool and comfortable even with 100 degree weather. Great space that was well kept and clean. Beautiful property. Have your coffee on the deck and take a photo of the stunning water lillies in bloom because they are morning lillies and will close midmorning."

"This was a very pretty property with lovely views of the sunset over the pond. It had ample seating areas inside and outside. The kitchen was good for serving on the large bar. The furnishings are nice and comfortable. However, one of the upstairs bedrooms was extremely hot and it never cooled down. We were offered no solution and it was not comfortable. There was no A/C in the glassed in porch so it is stifling in the summer. There are also quite a few smaller things that need maintenance throughout the property. We enjoyed our stay overall, but there are things that definitely need to be fixed. Also, a manual with instructions on how to turn on the outdoor lights, pool lights, and using the stove/oven correctly would be very helpful. It is a grand property that needs some tender loving care to be back to its original grandeur."

"I had a different circumstance that required me to go down there a day earlier...I tried through Expedia to change my reservation but was not successful. I called the hotel directly and they were able to assist me so I ended up staying a day earlier and kept my reservation for the original night stay. Hope and the crew were amazingly understanding and helpful. I did not catch the name of the woman who made the breakfasts but when my kid came down, she checked in on her and she made sure she had what she needed and asked if we needed anything else. I mean great customer service there and we've been going and staying there for the past 12 years. It is literally right up the road from the summer camp that we've been going to, it's about 45-minute drive from brenham to go get ice cream, and roughly about 20-25 minutes to round top. So it's a good centrally located hotel."

"This was a fantastic stay - the host was great and very responsive, the property was super spacious with a great pool, and only about a 5 min drive into Round Top. When we arrived, the central AC was not working, but within a few hours (without us having even contacted the host yet), someone came out to repair it and the problem was solved quickly and easily. Highly recommend!"

"Conveniently located for visiting round top during the day. House interior was even more beautiful than the pictures. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything that you could need. Layout of the house was great for multiple families staying together.We can’t wait to go back!"
