I really enjoyed my stay at SureStay by Best Western in Weimar, Texas. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. My room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location is great, right off I-10, so it’s easy to get to. There’s a McDonald’s and a pizzeria next door, which was really convenient. The front desk even told us we could order from the pizzeria, and they would deliver the food right to our room. The best surprise was finding halal food at the pizzeria, including Pakistani and Indian dishes. I definitely wasn’t expecting that in a small town, and it made the stay even better. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Overall, I had a great experience. Friendly staff, clean rooms, a convenient location, and good food nearby. I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area.

Do not attempt to stay here. At the time we booked the pictures were not up to date. The pool is permanently closed. The interior is moist due to insufficient cooling/de-humidification. The room was left with no air while unoccupied and was 78F and absolutetly dripping with contained humidity and the strong smell of mold. It had lights that were failing and blinked constantly. I never even bothered to look in the bathroom or to sit on the bed. It was dark, damp, and felt like we might be attacked in our sleep. A heavy oppressive horror movie vibe lingered in the building. Of course we couldn't know these things before actually checking the room and when we refused to stay in such conditions we were given the run around for a refund. I eventually got on expedia chat which was super helpful. The agent tried calling the hotel three times and was hung up on once. I then went to the counter told them they better answer and stay on the phone this time (they claimed nobody had called) and watched the phone as I messaged the agent to try her call again. Finally they picked up and processed our refund. After the fact my wife looked and their per-night rate was even lower than when we had booked; we literally could have just stopped on our trip and, if conditions hadn't been so miserable, gotten a cheaper rate than the online Expedia price. The online service from expedia was great but avoid this place unless you completely out of options.

I did one overnight stay with my boyfriend and one year old. Unfortunately the pool was out of service, but the hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. We drove in to Columbus, which was 10 minutes down I 10 towards Houston to go to a steakhouse and popped into their Hound song brewery for an appetizer and beer. Very easy location to access off of the interstate and close to gas stations, fast food, and Dollar General.

Pool was closed, not advertised. Carpet was soaking wet. Room was sticky ,walls were wet. Mildew smell was horrible, no other room's available per website. No refunds were available on this room when I booked it. I literally threw away $70 and drove to another town to find a room. I could have stayed at a really nice hotel. What a waste.

when we arrived at this hotel, which I got reservations for, the check-in lady asked me if it was ok if fridge did NOT work...what? If u rent a hotel w/fridge, isn't it usually because u were planning to use the fridge??? So I said we needed it to work, so she switched us to another room. We go into a really warm room, & immediately start trying to get the A/C on.

One of the worst experiences I ever had the hotel floor was dirty as well as the tub wasn’t able to shower properly until I was able to travel to my godmother’s house to take a hot shower tub look like somebody had just took a bath or have been living in that hotel room the room that was mildew carpet as well as the AC barely worked
