"Sold tours under false pretenses from hotel lobby. Tours were booked for wrong days and times. Refund was refused. Had to dispute charges through crdeit card company. Also, was was not cleaned for the entirety of our stay."

"My stay at Mood Matuna was amazing and made my birthday trip feel perfect. Before I arrived, Maria, Daniel, and the rest of the staff communicated with me through WhatsApp and helped with transportation, decorations, breakfast, excursions, dinner reservations, water, ice, and the sunset cruise. They answered every question with patience and kindness and never made me feel like I was asking too much. The birthday decorations were beautiful and looked even better in person. The balloons, flowers, rose petals, candles, wine, and birthday numbers made the room feel so special and were perfect for pictures and videos. I appreciated how clearly they explained the decoration package, pricing, and what was included. They even worked with my arrival time so I could create content. The room was cleaned and reset perfectly every day, and the free breakfast was really good. The staff was helpful, from bringing breakfast to the room when we were rushing to an excursion to helping with towels, water, and ice. The location was perfect, close to restaurants, nightlife, shopping, excursions, and tourist spots. Everything felt easy to get to. My only negatives were no elevator to the suite, and the pool jets were broken until the last day. Even with that, I recommend this hotel and would book here again. "Our experience in Cartagena itself was not very good however the staff at our hotel were wonderful! They went above and beyond to make us comfortable and create an enjoyable stay to offset some of our more unfortunate experiences. The hotel was comfortable, clean and centrally located. The breakfast was fresh with a good amount of variety and the coffee delicious. The pools were both gorgeous and the rooftop pool was great for sun lounging. "
