「It’s an older place but kept up very nice」

「This is a great little Inn. It seems to still have renovations. It was clean. The doors were a concern for me. Didn’t feel secure but I didn’t see it as a problem. The water was turned off by the city and I wasn’t able to have a shower. This would have been something to inform the guests with prior to arrival or at least the morning of. 」

「Hot water for dayz! Water pressure was fantastic in shower. Shower head was actually above my head we are 6ft tall family. Kitchen has full size fridge and freezer. Did not use the oven, stove worked great. Only complaint was the loud neighbors at night. But you can hear EVERYTHING through the walls so nothing really can be done about that. Office was open and staffed daily. We'd were able to get extra towels and toilet paper when needed. Walking distance to anything you need. Fantastic...

「Our little family vacation was great, thanks to the staff. The entire facility was clean, and no issues. The only other issue was late at night, when somebody's children were running up and down the hallway, which didn't stop until after midnight. A reminder for those with balconies to not drain water coolers from the balcony, to avoid water running down to the next balcony.」

「Returned 40 years later from our 1st stay, when it was in its original ocean front location, to this 2025 stay. Classic, historic, dedicated beach access, lovely grounds, lush landscaping and gardens, and a great vibe. Rocking chairs and porch swings harken back to the good ‘ol days. Wonderful breakfasts by Chef Georgia, with eclectic culinary creations. Just love this ‘old woodie’ hotel in the original classic OBX architectural style.」
