"The room was adequate for a short stay, but there were several things that could be improved. The bathroom needed attention, as the toilet felt loose and moved when used. While it was nice that laundry facilities were available on-site, guests need to bring quarters to use them. I also wish there had been an outdoor area or designated space to air-dry clothes, but that was not available. The room appeared to be vacuumed, but the carpet felt old and not particularly clean, making me wonder how often it is actually deep-cleaned. Personally, it left me feeling a bit uncomfortable. The kitchenette and room setup were sufficient for a brief stay, but I would not recommend it for longer stays or for anyone planning to do much cooking. On the positive side, the breakfast was decent and offered a variety of options, which we appreciated. The staff was also friendly and helpful. Overall, the hotel was acceptable for a short two-night stay, but it did not exceed expectations."

"I had a wonderful stay at Home2 Suites by Hilton Charlotte Uptown. The hotel was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable throughout my visit. What truly stood out was the staff—they were top-tier in every way. Everyone was friendly, professional, welcoming, and always willing to help. The attention to detail, cleanliness, and outstanding customer service made my stay enjoyable from start to finish. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Charlotte. Thank you to the entire team for such a great experience! 😊"

"The room was very clean, minimal items / no carpet was nice. Room had nice tv and mini split. The bathroom was dated but clean. Fine for a one night stop. Cons would be the room was very bright at night because of the parking lot lights even with the curtains drawn, the room had a strong smell of cleaning products, the bathroom had some kind of dehumidifier mechanism that was very loud. Also due to it being motel style the walls would shake when neighbors slammed the doors. Over all it was what we expected from the online photos and descriptions"

Hotel Alice At Atlantic Beach

6/10 Okay

"The walk to the beach was longer than expected. The lower rating is mainly for housekeeping. The room only had one large bath towel in the room. The person cleaning the rooms was just up the hall and I asked for another towel so I could shower as well as my husband. The person seemed offended and that there was enough towels in the room. Another employee got me the towel. I called the front desk and they did bring extra towels for the night and the next morning. The second night the air conditioning went out in the middle of the night."
