Orfila Vineyard and Winery

Fun property — loved the vibe, convenience, cleanliness, and amenities. Onsite food options over-priced and underwhelming.

We loved the property, proximity to the water, tennis, pools and marina. It’s a tropical paradise. Our main complaint is the cleanliness of the rooms and property and responsiveness of staff. Our room had ants the first night and they eventually came to spray but the guy at the front desk was sarcastic when we called about it. The floors and surfaces in our room were also dirty and we called for housekeeping and they didn’t come so we had to call again and they came the next day and gave us a credit, which was nice. But when they cleaned the room, they must have used a dirty and mildewy mop in the bathroom because it smelled like strong mildew after. I had to clean it myself using body wash and a washcloth just to get the stink out. Our feet would also get black from dirt after walking in the room, which is tiled. The floor clearly had not been mopped before our stay. And you have to call for housekeeping as they don’t provide it during your stay! The beds and linens were clean, however and the bed was comfortable. Having said all that, it’s a nice getaway and the pools, which could be cleaner, were nice and they provide ample towels and poolside service for food and drinks. They probably have trouble finding housekeepers and it’s a big property to maintain. The rooms on the water looked more well maintained. Our room was a garden view and the exterior sitting area wasn’t large enough to actually sit in because the hedge was so close the hedge had weird white stuff on it.

Stayed for a few nights, loved the hotel and its the perfect location great dining, the staff is amazing and so kind! The lobby is so cute and clean.. beds are comfy. The other parts of the facility could use some updates and our door the the balcony was broken but we were in the 3rd floor so no cause for concern. Still our go to hotel
