「The male staff at the check-in desk never once looked at me, whether when I asked him to keep my luggage at checkout or when I asked him to retrieve it. He just stared at the screen. It left me feeling very disappointed at the end of an otherwise wonderful trip.」

「今回家族3人で2泊しました。駅からはスーツケースを持って歩くのは少し大変でしたが、近くにスーパーやコインランドリーもあり、便利な立地です。部屋はとても広く、ベッド3つ、エアコンも3台あり、快適に過ごせました。ミニキッチン付のダイニングには冷蔵庫や食器類もあり、テイクアウトしたものを食べるのに便利でした。唯一、ティッシュペーパーが無かったのが残念。朝食は種類が多く、美味しかったです。受付の人達はとても親切で、感じ良かったです。」

Bruno, the head of reception, went out of his way to ensure our complete satisfaction. On my birthday, I was spoiled from morning till night. At breakfast, they sang "Happy Birthday" to me with a cupcake and two glasses of champagne. In the afternoon, they offered us a glass of vino de Oporto, and when I arrived in the room that afternoon, there was a greeting card...

「シンプルでレトロな室内はとても心地良かったです。バスタブの無理矢理置いた感じが面白かったですし、慣れれば不便さは感じませんでした。 ポルトガルはアーティストに寛大で、特にポルトではあらゆる所でミュージシャンが歌ったり、演奏していました。 ホテルの真下でも遅くまでパフォーマンスしているので、夜はもう少し静かだと嬉しかったです。」
