"Parking was convenient and staff were great. Had a room on the interstate side and could hear traffic noise very clearly, so recommend requesting a room on the opposite side!"

"Overall, it was a pleasant stay. With gated parking and a gated entrance, I felt safe and secure throughout my stay. We experienced a brief water outage, but when we went to the office, the staff were already aware of the issue and gave us an estimated time for the repair to be completed. A little while later, they came to inform us that the water supply had been restored. I appreciated their prompt communication. The bed was comfortable, but the main downside was the noise from people walking on the floor above us in the middle of the night. It woke us up several times, and although the noise eventually stopped, it was already 8 a.m. by then. Breakfast was included, with a good selection of bread and toast, muffins, cornflakes, oatmeal, boiled eggs, coffee, and juice. For a hotel in this price range, the breakfast was quite impressive and comparable to what you might find at some well-known hotel chains. Considering the room rate, this hotel offers excellent value for money and is hard to beat in the area!"

"Other than when there’s a major event in the city, this motel on Aurora is a great value and the owners keep it clean and relatively calm. That part of Aurora is known for lots of stuff that most guests would not like, but management does a good job of screening those folks out for the most part. I’ve stayed there many times and I’ll stay there whenever the occasion comes up."

"We were so happy with our stay in North Seattle at the Best Motel! The owners/ management really made the entire experience great! Wonderful reception- helpful and kind- a gated entry felt so safe and we were graciously given a quiet upstairs room. The bedroom and bathroom were immaculate and the bed was really comfortable! We had a xx great TV with all the sports stations too and got the best nights sleep! Thank you Best Motel for maintaining such high standards- the best in the area❤️ We definitely can’t wait to stay with you again soon!"

"Location to green lake can’t get much better. Trung, our host, was lovely and responsive to our questions. The neighbor’s friendly goldendoodle is a super ambassador and gave us a warm welcome. The house has plenty of space for privacy yet feels intimate for gatherings and has plenty of seating for conversations and group meals.Seattle’s recycling is a bit cumbersome but once you get the hang of it, it’s no problem. The house had adequate signage for ‘how to’ properly recycle.We rented the additional apartment for our party of 8 and always had hot showers."

"The house itself was very clean and inviting and the host very responsive. We had a great time staying here!I didn’t see in the listing (maybe I missed it) that this isn’t the whole house but the top floor of a house. Which is fine, it just would have been nice to know. I would have marked five stars except the whole backyard was unusable. We were excited to use the back deck and yard space, but a large gazebo construction project was underway and the whole backyard felt like a construction zone. Additionally, we never felt comfortable using the deck because there was a construction crew working into the evening on the gazebo. There was also a large pile of trash, furniture, and construction stuff behind the house that felt very unsafe for kids or dogs. All would have been understandable but the host didn’t tell us until close to check-in so we were unprepared. Overall, I would book again if the backyard could be cleaned up so that the whole property could be used."
