"Very accommodating! We checked in to our ocean front room , it was blocked by several palm trees and on 2nd floor. Carole was very clear that there wasn’t any other rooms available and that tomorrow we could move to another room. Carole moved us to the 7th floor ocean front. Beautiful view each morning with a sunrise that was prettier each day. They made sure we were happy and got what we paid for. "

"This place is amazing! You feel like you are at a fancy resort. The pool area was beautiful with a Tiki bar, the ocean was a close walk, everything was perfect. This will be our new go to beach trip. "

"It was a pleasant experience. I happened to be staying there when hurricane Sally hit. My room stayed fine. However, the lobby was damaged by the winds and rain, lost power and water. The staff and manager on hand were excellent. They didn’t act frazzled or anxious. They took care of matters and us guests. I really enjoyed the history of the hotel, too. "

"Had an amazing stay great hotel right on beach . Nice facilities pool etc. and good restaurant on site. Wasn't the most modern rooms. Bath room was great but furniture was tired looking and pretty unimpressive. Furniture on balcony could also be replaced. Tired and dirty looking. We needed sofa bed for our kids and it was also really bad. Kids ended up just sleeping on cushions on floor. It really was that bad. But if only two staying in room the king bed was great and if you see past tired...

"The hotel staff was awesome! From the front desk, Nicole Hayes, to Asst General Mgr, Suzanne Scowden, as well as the maintenance man, Ken, all were very helpful and accommodating! We had a family reunion and we stayed four nights. We were given access to a meeting room for playing games and daily gathering. I did have an issue in my room, which was immediately resolved by Ken and Suzanne. One concern I had was with the tile floors in our room which were not very clean. The breakfast was ok. I...
