Let start with check in which was less than desirable. We were given a room but after I suffered( you're forced to hear a spiel about some meetings or something) from another person just to get my parking pass and I said i wasn't interested and that we were there just tw weeks ago, I was told someone was still in an room . Then they were trying to give me another but had to come back the next morning to get Another room which I said i want my money back if have switch rooms the next day. So then I was given another rm.I went uo and low and behold there's people still in there, we go back down to the lobby and are given another so we go back Up and this room has not been cleaned, dirty linen on bathroom floor, the bed was unmade with dirty linen balled up on the corner, over filled trash bag on top of trash can, used water bottles on the table so we go Back down to the lobby, then are given our last room but the nice clerk goes and checks this room himself. Finally success! The guy that checked us in was very nice and polite but seems to have problem with the computer stating the stuff is not getting updated. Also the ac has been broken in the lobby for over two weeks. The view from the balcony is great. Just before checking out of our room I was going to wash a couple of dishes but there was no dish soap in the room. I use to love the maverick but this new vacation management or whatever its called is well, less than desirable. I hope the owners get better management

This is exactly what we were looking for. We loved the quiet location! Even with Spring break going on, we had the beach to ourselves most of the time. We brought the cold weather with us so the heated pool and hot tub was a hit for our 13 year old. Staff was wonderful. We loved the outdoor space with multiple built in grills, made lobster tails and scallops. Picked up a ton of FRESH seafood at Hulls (amazing people there too and great pricing) after having a disastrous meal at Riptide (I don't recommend). The room was a good size, like a small suite and we had a studio on the 6th floor. Great having the kitchenette to steam 4 lbs of snow crab and make meals and snacks throughout the week. Best part was walking in each time and having an unobstructed beautiful view of the ocean! Being from St. Louis it was such a treat! Every room has a huge window with a walkout balcony to enjoy sunrises, sunsets, a cup of coffee, even staying dry during a small tropical afternoon storm. Room needed a small amount of work but nothing major. They're working on the hotel and we didn't hear a peep! Plenty of parking with so much to do in the area. We went to Bass Pro for our fishing license. There are endless waterfront parks with boardwalks making fishing a breeze. We even caught a small hammerhead! If you are looking for the most bang for your buck on a spot literally right on the beach with a gorgeous backdrop this is it! We will definitely be back! Thanks to everyone at The Maverick!

I was completely blown away by this resort! Their attention to detail is impeccable. Check in was seamless thanks to Sharon & Randy. Every staff member I encountered was friendly & accommodating. I can't say enough about the room. It was clean, up to date, & had everything a person could need for a comfortable stay. The most magical part of my stay was being able to sleep listening to the waves & in the morning being able to watch the sunrise right from my bed!!! How amazing is that?!!! I've already booked another stay for next month. See ya soon!!!

Hola, necesito asistencia con un reembolso por una reserva reciente. Reservé un hotel a través de su plataforma y al momento de hacer el check-in, alrededor de las 12 de la noche, la habitación que me asignaron estaba completamente sucia. Tengo evidencia en fotos. Lo más preocupante fue que el personal del hotel no me ofreció ninguna solución adecuada en ese momento. Incluso propuse quedarme en la habitación y limpiarla yo misma a cambio de algún descuento, pero tampoco accedieron. Me vi obligada a quedarme porque era tarde, estaba lejos de mi hogar y no tenía otra opción en ese momento. Posteriormente, me quedé un día adicional de lo pautado, pero en lugar de resolver la situación, el hotel me indicó que debía gestionar el reclamo directamente con Expedia. Considero que el servicio recibido no cumple con los estándares mínimos de calidad, especialmente en términos de limpieza e higiene. Por esta razón, solicito formalmente un reembolso total o parcial por la estadía. Adjunto evidencia fotográfica y quedo atenta a su pronta respuesta. Gracias.

The beach view is extraordinary from the balcony and inside the room. The space was clean and well organized. I was impressed by how quiet it was, no slamming doors or loud voices heard inside the room. The layout of the resort is convenient with easy access to parking and the beach. I felt safe there. The pool area is beautiful and well maintained. I enjoyed my stay.

Our room was wonderful. It was very clean and comfortable. All the towels and sheets were very white and clean. The bedroom overlooked the beach and ocean and the bed was very comfortable. My room had a full kitchen, and had everything you needed, which included plates, mugs, glasses, silverware and a knife block with scissors. It also came with a fridge/freezer and stove/oven. You couldn't want for anything. The employees were wonderful especially the front desk people. There is also beach access, pools, bbq area, firepit area, and a covered seating area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking in the Ormond Beach area. You can't go wrong here.

Bed was not completely made and I called the front desk and they told me to come to the desk and they would give me the missing bedding. I said I didn’t feel I needed to make the bed at a hotel when I’m on vacation and he just said ok and handed me the linens. The window AC was about 12” from the bed which meant the cold air was blowing directly on me. The floors were dirty.

Property was beachfront and the view was great. The check in process was smooth and even though my room wasn’t ready, I was understanding and just waited and the staff was very nice and apologetic. Even the timeshare people weren’t pushy. The amenities were nice and i did see that there was a prior bar/restaurant area. That should definitely be opened up, it would make a killing. The only thing that I didn’t like was the lack of security and lighting at night. We parked in the backside facing the ocean and it was pitch black. Coming around the building was lighting but then got stopped by people trying to access keyed entrances asking us if we stayed there and to let them in. We did not and the person continued banging in the door and we heard someone else let her in. The lack of security can give the wrong person access. Other than that everything was really nice and I would go back.

Thee room was very clean, the beach front view was the best part the staff was nice but didn't like having yo see someone else and listen to spiel just to get my parking pass. The elevator that's not near the lobby was squeak and screeching very loud, heard it from inside my room.

Front desk will take phone calls 1st while you wait! Wanted to call them on the phone so I could get waited on! They are very indifferent! They made me come back 4 times to get checked in!
