「I had a nice stay at Barclay Cottage Inn overall. The property was clean, reasonably priced, and conveniently located near the beach. The service was also good, and I had a pleasant experience with the staff. My biggest disappointment was the breakfast. I realize the property describes it as a continental breakfast, so I may have had different expectations based on some of the breakfast photos I saw online. The breakfast offered during my stay was fairly limited: bagels with cream cheese or...

「We stayed for our honeymoon before embarking on our cruise to Bermuda out of Norfolk. The port was very close to the Inn. The Inn is beautiful and so romantic. The area around the Inn had several options for dining. The walkable area was so romantic with its old architecture and cobblestone streets. I would love to come and stay longer and experience their restaurants and the city of Norfolk. I would highly recommend the Inn to anyone wanting a place that is not a big box type hotel. If...

「We loved our stay! The inn is exactly as pictured. The balcony was perfect as we watched the thunder clouds roll in and watched it rain, it was so relaxing. The inn is located close to everything the town could offer, with less than a 5 minute walk straight into the ocean. There is only about 6 parking spots for the whole Inn, we didn't have any issues with parking but I'm sure during peak season or if the Inn is sold out it could be an inconvenience. The bed was comfortable, the half bathroom...

「Upon arriving we were greeted so graciously by the two girls from Pennsylvania I have misplaced their names in my head everything was a bit available the chocolates the lovely cookies the coffee the wine bar the room was beautiful the beds were lovely we had a stellar time and will definitely be back thanks again Hornsby house and we sure did enjoy ourselves」

「The Inn at Warner Hall is a fantastically restored piece of history. The inn is in great condition and beautifully done. The property grounds look great and includes a 1-mile walking path with river views. The friendly staff and great breakfast only add to a wonderful stay.」

「Wonderful hosts. Delicious breakfast. Convenient to walk or drive to Colonial Williamsburg. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Williamsburg.」

「The room was clean and comfortable and we slept well. Breakfast was also delicious.」

Vsit as ａ strainger but leave as a friend

「Good!」

「One word- cockroach. I went to bed around 11:00PM, and I looked up at the ceiling to a bug I had never seen before. I texted my daughter a pic and asked her what it was. It was a cockroach. She said VA was known to have a problem with them. I stood on the bed and banged a book against it, and it fell. I took another picture, to make sure I had identified it. I only stayed one night, and hardly slept at all. I found out that the contact info that the owner shared with me was only texting, when I...
