"Really great value for money, lovely hotel in a good location, clean, friendly staff. Breakfast was included which is great, I would just say that the use of plastic cutlery/plates/bowls at breakfast made it feel quite cheap but breakfast itself was good, would recommend. "

"This building was built in the 1890’s and they maintained the era in decorating. Very nicely done! Enjoyed the space and the staff were helpful and friendly. Located immediately across the street from the beach, the area was very busy, but our room was quiet for sleeping. Lots of choices for dining. We would stay again."

Pendry Newport Beach
5.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (61)
"Room was great. Bed very comfortable. Modern shower with good water pressure. Towels were soft. But above all those fantastic items, was the service. Everyone very nice, kind, hospitable and professional. This place is an A Plus. The one thing you should know, the bar downstairs in the lobby turns into a nightclub around midnight and is absolute chaos with people, drinks, loud music everywhere. We could barely hear it from our room on the 2nd floor but I pity the clean up crew each morning. "

Pendry Newport Beach
Hyatt Regency Newport Beach
4.0 star property
8.2 out of 10, Very Good, (1002)
"The property is well-kept, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The price is great compared to nearest Balboa Bay Resort. So, it is a great alternative for extremely high-priced Balboa Bay. The only thing I did not like, is that they charge $40 per day for parking, plus another $40 per day as Resort Fees. That's $80 per day on top of hotel rooms. That is too much, and that is what cost them 1 star less than a perfect 5. ... "

"The location was excellent. We were disappointed in the condition of the rental- broken sofa bed, broken microwave, missing slats from vertical blinds, dirty towel in bathroom, hand towels found in dryer, three dirty dishes found in cupboard."
