"Place was ok. The plumbing in the shower and bathroom sink in our room had issues. The water would it go down. The shower filled up so quickly, I was standing in a “bath” of water and after it took forever for the water to go down. Also, there was no extra blanket in the room, we had to ask for a blanket. "

"Beautiful little villa that worked great for 3 adults. Clean, cozy, beautifully decorated, and fun gift baskets upon arrival. Colleen was a great host and easy to communicate with. Walking distance to the beach, restaurants and coffee shops. We loved the balcony area for morning coffee and an evening BBQ/dinners. Such a beautiful location and we look forward to staying here again next time we are in the area!! "

"Hotel is amazing Staff can be incredibly rude and stuck up. Especially the hostesses at the restaurant. I wasn’t going to say anything, but it’s mind blowing how rude they are. They need some serious training, being rude and standoffish is not the level I would expect from Pendry. Property and rooms are 11/10 Staff needs serious work. Be nice to people. That simple. Be helpful. Be accommodating. "

"The house was exactly as listed. Easy walk to the beach and town. Property managers were very communicative and responsive to questions. Easy check in. Lots of room for our family to spread out. We'd stay here again."

"The cottage looks very cute from the outside and the inside pictures as well. The rug was filthy, in need of a deep cleaning or replacement. The bathroom had dirt grime on the floor caulking with mold spots in the shower/tub area. Most things were dusty and in need of a deep cleaning. "

"We enjoyed our stay at this clean and nicely decorated house. It had all the comforts of home with all the kitchen appliances, pots, pans and utensils you need. A very comfortable bed/bedroom and daybed. One bathroom had a shower and the other bathroom a shower head and a bathtub which I always indulge in a good hot bath after a busy day walking around. We especially enjoyed the privacy of the enclosed courtyard with a table and chairs where reading and drinking a glass of wine by the outdoor fireplace was relaxing. This home is within walking distance (just a block or so away) from the cute and quaint little town with souvenir shops, clothing boutiques, restaurants, delicious ice cream and frozen bananas on a stick, a museum and a grocery store to name a few of the variety of places to go. We loved that some of the shops were open until at least 7:30 pm not to mention the restaurants that were open late. I often walked to town by myself at night and felt totally safe and secure.We enjoyed walking around the beautiful, calming and serene neighborhood that went around the bay and a quick and easy walk to the ferry where we caught a short ride to the Fun Zone and enjoyed ourselves there before catching the ferry back. This was our first trip to Balboa Island and our first stay at this lovely home but hopefully not our last! We will be back and will recommend it to family and friends."

"Perfect for our girls weekend with 6 people. Great location for walking and enjoying the view from the big picture window. We were out and about all day, and really just slept here, and hung out in the morning and evenings a bit. Small kitchen, but served our needs for breakfast in. Walking to shops and Resturant's was easy. Super small parking spot, for one car- we were worried about finding street parking but were lucky to find spots easily every day! (Maybe harder other times if the year?) Comfortable beds, nice showers. "
