「Absolutely stunning views of Mt. Taranaki! Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Basecamp. Great communication with host, very clean and had everything we needed. Our boys loved the basketball hoop and game garage. Easy check in and check out. 12 mins from gorgeous hiking trails.Everything was as pictured, but even more stunning in person. Thank you for such a warm welcome and comfortable stay! 10 out of 10!!」

「It was wonderful that we could take our dog with us. We enjoyed it that he could spend most of the time outside in the fenced off area. We would love to go back in summer or autumn.」

「Great for family with young children.」

「The house was very clean. There were 11 ( one could not come due to illness.) of us and the dining table seated us all. Amazing. Worked so well for good dinner conversion. The hot tub was enjoyed. Instructions were laid out well. The house was kept warm by a super log fire as the weather left a bit to be desired.」

「It was a stunning 270 degree view. Nice comfortable private room. Friendly hosts and friendly family dogs」

「The home was once a grand old homestead. There was know water preasure through out our stay. It states 3 showers and only has one shower. This was very disappointing trying to get 10 people ready for a 90th birthday. We only had 8 towels for 10 people 1 teatowel and found another teatowel between the couch cushion.Went to put the washing machine on and it didn't rinse so had to rush out to get another outfit for the 90th.Lovely old home but very disappointing」

「What a wonderful trip away with the family. We could totally unwind in the spa. Enjoyed the views, and really appreciated the clean, modern look to this spacious cottage. 」

「Place could do with a deep clean inside and out, probably twice, and sign's on every door, on everything just felt not welcoming, if things were improved it's a quite setting which would be enjoyable.」
