What an amazing place - so cosy, large, clean, immaculate, superb decor, friendly owner who responds to communication super quick, great location for an "on the way home" stop to recharge the batteries, huge bedroom, delicious and ample choices for the free breakfast, cosy seating in the main lounge, large kitchen with all you need, beautiful bathroom with huge bath and corner walk-in shower. 「1901年に建てられた建物で、横浜の異人館に宿泊しているような雰囲気です。5部屋しかなく、夫婦でやれる範囲の人数しか泊めない、暖かい雰囲気のホテルでした。オークランド大学に近く、ダウンタウンも歩いて15-20分くらいです。18世紀の大きなバスタブに浸かって、19世紀のイギリスです。その雰囲気が好きな人にはたまりません。バスタブとトイレは共用という部屋もあります。朝食もご主人が自ら作り、運んでくれますし、おいしい。ロビーでは、夜他の宿泊客と楽しい会話も楽しみました。」

「ポンソンビートいうオシャレな街並みの中、本当に便利でした。そして、ホテルというよりはB＆B、自分の部屋からリビングにお茶を取りに行くときは、つい裸足で行ってしまったり。朝食もエッグベネディクトをはじめ、美味しかったです。中心地からは遠いですが、バスですぐですし、ニュージーランドの最終日をこのホテルにして大正解でした。」
