"Room wasn’t swept, there were stains on the furniture. Something smelled off and musty, no ventilation in the bathroom. There was a shortage of towels. You can hear other people talking in other rooms clearly when you’re laying down. Won’t be back. Felt gross just being there."

"The staff was excellent and very friendly. Unfortunately the rooms were tired. Our first room had a strong smell so we switched to a Chalet. It had some updates so it so it looked better than the motel room but there was a dank smell like stinky wet dog in this second one. Overall, although it looked relatively clean the smell and peeling paint on the bathroom door and old heater just made it feel dirty. Very disappointing. Also the restaurant was closed due for repairs."

"Water seeping from under laminate flooring in room. Our bags were wet in the morning. They moved us to a different room upstairs (no elevator by the way). Dont look under the beds or dressers. The amount of mold in the games room and pool was insane. Pool was constantly merky. They wouldn't discount our room for the inconvenience of moving and having to wash all of our clothes due to the water on the floor. They said giving us the other room was basically good enough. The staff were nice, but the state of the facility and poor customer relations by management were way less than to be desired."

"An older motel a block away from the waterfront and a short drive to the Graham Bell Museum. Besides not being totally cleaned, (there was a drink ring on the night stand) the plumbing needed attention. The taps seemed to scream and the hot water took a long time to get there. No breakfast was offered this early in the season. There was a restaurant in the hotel across the street."

"Although the front staff were absolutely lovely, the room was not entirely clean. After locating an already used bar of soap in the shower sitting on top of the shampoo and conditioner bottles and hair on the walls, I asked the front desk if housekeeping could go and clean the washroom. They were deeply sorry and said they’d send someone right away. After being out of the room all day I came back to them having been there to “clean” but the bar and hair were still there. This tells me the housekeeping staff are either not trained properly or simply don’t care. Other than that, breakfast was okay, safety was good, parking was good. No sight of the fitness facilities accessible to guests. I’d try other places before booking again."
