「A delightful beautifully decorated Victorian hotel from 1875. A very nice parlor to relax in with games for the kids and an equally charming dining room. Breakfast if you want it. Your host, Simone, loves to talk with her guests and is very helpful. Several good restaurants just a block away」

「If you're looking for a place to unwind after a long day of sightseeing, this hotel is a great choice. The beds are comfortable, and most importantly, the rooms smell fresh and clean—surprisingly pleasant for an older hotel. It definitely doesn’t have that musty, outdated scent you might expect. The breakfast buffet is also impressive, offering a good variety of options.」

「The staff were wonderful and this place is kept absolutely immaculate. We had a sea view room, again... immaculate. The breakfast in the morning was excellent. Yes... we enjoyed staying here. They do have some slots there and interesting antiques in the front room. The hotel is older but well maintained. We liked it here.」

「I stayed in room 34. Needs a new bed. It was so uncomfortable and noisy. Every time I moved it squeaked so loud that it would wake my dog up. Made for 2 long nights. 」

「We wish we could live at Rita’s retreat all the time! Our room was nice and cozy. The backyard is so spacious and peaceful all the way down to the water. The indoor saltwater pool was icing on the cake! Mike was very accommodating, helpful and fun to talk to— I recommend Rita’s Retreat!」

「This is a unique stay on the world famous Cabot Trail. It is a one room cabin, like a treehouse over looking St Anns Bay. The washroom facilities are a short walk down hill the facilities. It is not for everybody. It definitely worked for us! We spent 5 nights of relaxing after the beautiful drives we took on the Cabot Trail. The bed was great and having a coffee on the front deck was a great way to start the day. Thank you to the hosts! Cheers @EddieMac75 」
