We loved our stay here, the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast had hot breakfast as well ( eggs and sausage / bacon ) which made us happy. The location is very good, close to the Baddeck waterfront and Alexander Graham Bell National Historic site.

The property is in a great location with views of the water and hills. Parking out front is useful for loading/unloading luggage. Very clean and surprisingly quiet. Easy walk into Baddeck and it's facilities. Breakfast was simple but good.

We had a lovely stay at the lodge, in one of the dog friendly rooms. The room was clean, and equipped with the essentials. The staff were friendly. The rooms are quite dated and could use some upgrades to the furnishings and pillows. We would stay again! Thank you.

The room was clean and had everything we needed. The front desk was very helpful, the location is terrific. The room had a porch that overlooked the lake. Was quiet and well taken care of... suggestion to management to fix the roadway at the bottom of the drive, but it was no big deal! Would go back there any time.

This old motel is very charming to look at as you drive up. Lovely flowers and an old fashioned porch. It has been decades since I have stayed in an old fashioned motel. I loved the fact that I could park in front of my door. The people here were very helpful. The room was very clean and basic. I booked the room here as a base to drive the Cabot Trail. I would do it again!

Great location. Rooms were basic but clean. The breakfast was very continental. We bought our own fruit and yogurt to fill it in. Washrooms need to install some grab bars for senior security.

It is ideally situated and in walking distance to all the restaurants, marina and museums. The room was comfortable although the balcony looked in need of some maintenance. Breakfast was disappointing, no yoghurt or fruit or cheese and ham. But the worst for us were the paper plates, cups and wooden cutlery. For the rates charged per night, the least they could do is have decent tableware.
