「We had a lovely stay at Iona Heights Inn. The location was beautiful and peaceful, with gorgeous views and a great atmosphere. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was a wonderful base for exploring Cape Breton, and we especially enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. We would definitely stay here again!」

「Overall, the hotel was okay, with very good food and friendly service. However, the room had a few issues, as the shower head was confusing to operate and the toilet would make a constant hissing noise after flushing. When we first entered, the room also felt a bit dull, and the AC was turned up too high, making it feel like a freezer. Other than these issues, we had a decent experience with the hotel.」

「Had I known it was a construction zone, I wouldn’t have stayed here. You really should let people know. The dome was lovely with a great view - if you dislike traffic noise, the domes are right next to the road so it’s pretty loud. Work crews were there until 7:30pm so that wasn’t great. The “hot tub” and “pool” are non-starters. Consider the location to not have them. It was an ok stay.」
