Beautiful Spot

Beautiful cottage with lovely view of the water and Kelly's mountain the yard was really nice to sit out in the evening and have a few drinks very quiet and peaceful I would definitely recommend people to stay here you would have everything you need close to stores and shopping and gorgeous scenic drives would definitely make you want to book this beautiful cottage

We had a great stay at this property. There is lots of room inside and the kitchen had everything we needed. We loved the fire pit area outside. Air conditioning was definitely a plus!! It was a great location with lots of places to explore nearby.

Wonderful stay in Cape Breton!

The cottage was clean and had everything we needed for the time we were there. Any questions we had were promptly answered by Kim. Our 3 girls (ages 8, 6, 9 months) all had a blast exploring Cape Breton!

Great location.

The property was exactly as presented on the vrbo site. Perfect jumping off spot for exploring Cape Breton. Wonderful property for dogs with free running space and enclosures. Well equipped kitchen. The pillows could use an upgrade.

Great central property, close to Baddeck

Great air-conditioned cottage. Lots of space and private from the road. Some small cosmetic issues, but nothing that bad The beach at the end of the road is rocky, so you will want to be sure that you bring water shoes if you're planning to go to that beach. No place near has firewood available, so make sure to pick some up as you drive up to the cottage. Kids had a wonderful time, and the kitchen is stocked with all the dishes and glasses you need for cooking. Nice living room area is great for card or board games. The cottage is pretty close to Baddeck, and is also a good spot for day trips around the island.

Cape Breton trip

Property had everything we needed for our 4 day trip. When we walked into the entrance we where hit with an awful smell! Thankfully the entrance was separated by another door into the house. We think it was mold or musty coming from the basement. Good size kitchen and living room. Beds where not the greatest. The location for us was good for our adventures.

Our host, Kim, was amazing. There was an initial problem with the water, and she bent over backwards to fix it herself as quickly as possible.The space was comfortable and clean. It is close to the Cabot Trail and a bunch of other Cape Breton activities, and we had the chance to get to see a lot of them.Highly recommended.

Kellys Mountain Cottage

Lovely cottage at the base of the mountain. The cottage had everything and more for those who like to cook and entertain.On a well maintained dirt road for those who like to walk or run.Close to main highway.

Very responsive host. Clean and welcoming. Lovely location and near to some nice hikes (waterfalls, fairy holes). Great seclusion and ease of access to major roads. Host was very accommodating for a late checkout. Kitchen well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, etc. Wifi worked well, and good cell service. On the minor annoyance side, we had trouble turning off the ceiling fans and leaving lights on. One fan was broken. Outdoor lights over porch did not work, but side light was sufficient. Games room and fireplace (on listing) were not available.

We really enjoyed our stay here for 5 days. It was the perfect central location for travelling all the trails around Cape Breton Island. Kim was very friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to anyone coming to Cape Breton for a vacation.
