「Found out upon check-in that dogs weren’t allowed even if they stayed in their kennel, but was told a rabbit in a cage could stay in the room. After rabbit was moved in, was then told that the rabbit couldn’t stay in there. 「The hotel is showing its age, its carpets are worn & stained. The whole interior reminded me of the 1980's . But the bed linens appeared clean. there was hot water & the building while quite full with many young people was quiet enough to get rest. But if you need a cork screw, the front desk can't help you, make sure you have soap and shampoo of your own, as it's not worth using their sample packs. the ' breakfast' is very basic . its at best a 2 star motel.」

「We ate dinner and breakfast in the onsite restaurant before catching the ferry. The food was tasty and served hot. It was nice to just walk to the restaurant rather than having to drive somewhere else. The room was very hot and we could not turn the heater off.」

「Did not know that there were so many stairs to get to and from the bachelor apt., However Hosts were there at the time we arrived to check on things and graciously helped us up the stairs with our bags ! We really appreciated their friendliness and kindness after a long day . The oatmeal cookies that were left for us as a special treat were fantastic and waking up to a beautiful view with Canada geese on the lawn by the lake was amazing!」

「I was contacted early on the day of arrival which was really nice as you immediately knew there were no problems with the reservation. Asked of any allergies were applicable in advance of breakfast the following morning. Upon arrival met by the owner and given all the information and shown to our beautiful room This location is like stepping back in time but with the modern touches in the bathroom . The bed and breakfast is very clean and the breakfast is a treat in itself with a Nova Scotia...
