"This lodge is a perfect place to stay for a couple. Setting is relaxing and quiet. Hot tub is large. Parking close to the lodge. Lodge clean with shower with good pressure. Bed comfy and has a memory foam topper. Village has 2 decent sized supermarkets which are both walkable from the lodge. There is also a fish and chip shop. Recommend location and lodge."

"Lovely stay at The Barn – friendly and helpful hosts with quick responses. Checking was stress free. Rooms were comfortable with extra blankets for added coziness. The kitchen was spacious and well-equipped, and the hot tub was a real highlight. Peaceful setting (depending on neighbours). Would definitely stay again!"

"Lovely clean property, the children really enjoyed the games. We were very pleased with the little extras that the owners have available like tea & coffee. 40 mins from Alton Towers was very handy with a Tesco enroute so we could get any bits we needed. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again in the future when in the area. "

"Parking is convenient. Staff in reception and in the Sky bar for dinner were lovely. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Only one thing I would raise is that I knew on a Monday the Sky bar did a se t dinner menu for £17.95 for two courses - but when we arrived we were only given the a la carte menu and no mention was made of the option (its Sun and Mon only from 4pm) of the set menu (which has a lot of the a la carte menu options on it and it is much cheaper) so I had to ask - as soon as I did it was offered but if I hadn’t asked I wouldn’t have been have been given the option. Overall though a very enjoyable stay and would definitely stay again. "
