"Was told the original room we booked (superior) wasn’t available so they upgraded us to another room, I don’t see how our room was an upgrade with a view, a view of the car park out of one window. Bathroom was very tired looking and dirty in places. My experience at the spa was a joke and one I wouldn’t want to be repeated. "

"This is an immaculately clean, functional hotel with no frills, which met all of our needs and served us very well. The breakfast buffet was excellent. We stayed 2 nights and the room wasn’t serviced in that period - something to be aware of - but fresh towels etc are available on request. Staff were excellent throughout. Parking was plentiful and was an extra charge ( £5 per night) - entirely reasonable. All in all, outstanding value for money and would definitely stay there again. "

"Had an incredibly comfortable and peaceful stay in a very pleasant well equipped room. Delicious bed, good shower and plenty of hot water. No noise from the street despite it being a busy central area near everything one could need. Foyer, bar and public areas were welcoming and stylish. Staff incredibly helpful. "

"The hotel was okay, but a bit tired. My computer wouldn’t connect to the WiFi, and the food in the restaurant was overpriced and would have been better with a normal brasserie price menu. The dining room was the same as the breakfast location and the lighting was too bright, like eating in a cafeteria."
