"Our stay at the Sheraton Times Square was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had, and it was shockingly below the standards I expect from a Marriott/Sheraton property. The biggest problem was the complete chaos around the elevators. There were massive lines just to get upstairs, largely due to huge tour groups staying in the hotel. The line for the elevators stretched endlessly, and there was absolutely no organization whatsoever. People were cutting in front of each other constantly, no one was directing traffic, and the elevators were being packed to the point where it felt like they might shut down from being overloaded. At one point, it took over 45 minutes just to get up to our room. Even worse, when leaving the room, it took another 30 minutes just to get down to the lobby. When an elevator finally arrived going down, people were literally booing because of how long everyone had been waiting. That should tell you everything you need to know about the situation. Security was completely useless. When we asked about the chaos, a security guard simply said, “This is what happens when large groups stay at the hotel.” That is not an acceptable answer. If management knows this happens, they should have staff or security actively organizing the elevator lines so guests aren’t left fighting their way in. Management should honestly be ashamed of how poorly this was handled. There was zero attempt to fix the problem while it was happening."

"Room was very small, bathroom was extremely small. The tv didn’t work, there was no view, it took 30 + minutes to check in. Just not what I was expecting I suppose for the price "

"So many things near by. Great for a quick stay. No microwave or fridge in room and the rooms are very small. Also the bathroom is very small. It was super clean which was nice and they had fuzzy blankets. The staff was nice but it seems haunted not sure. "

"Room service was excellent. I needed a hot water kettle and it arrived very quickly. They offer private car service arrangements to the airport within fair NYC rates. And the room was cleaned daily."

"We went to NYC to see shows and our hotel was in the epicenter of most theaters. It was awesome. The hotel staff was great, and the room fit 3 of us. We were half a block away from times square where the TKTS booth is located. One of the shows we saw was right next door to the theater, which was nice since it was cold and snowing."

"The twin bed room was tiny and mattresses on floor with no bed frame. Stayed w one child who is teenager. The glass enclosure of bathroom was see through. So no privacy. Also could hear the person next room snoring through the wall at night. "
