The Evelyn is a super cute hotel with a vibrant atmosphere/ bar. Rooms are very cosy and we loved the art deco style. The staff were amazing and really made our trip! They were so welcoming , sweet and helpful at every moment. They even managed to get us last minute bookings at some top restaurants. This hotel is great value and is in a very cool/central location. We avoided the free breakfast as it’s not great and a scramble for a few seats.

Lovely hotel. Room was an okay size but the bathroom was tiny and the wardrobe far too small (it was less than half height so you could hang shirts but not trousers). Breakfast was literally grab and go with limited choice but was pleasant enough. Not a bad location for getting about and some nice eateries close by.

Characterful hotel, very well located. Clean rooms in good condition, comfortable beds, good sized bathrooms with good water pressure, friendly helpful staff. Fun music-themed decor a big plus - this is not a bland corporate hotel, which I liked. Free wine in the evening and free wine bottle in the room, if this is important to you :) Downsides: drinking water required fetching at hotel reception. No free coffee provided as standard in room.

Great location . Walkable to restaurants but the restaurant in site is superb. It’s an older hotel so you can hear quite a bit of street noise . Rooms are clean , comfy bed, quirky classic decor.
