The front desk team is super helpful and friendly, and they speak great English. The rooms are very clean and a bit more spacious than what you’d expect in a typical Japanese hotel—they even have a microwave, a mini kitchen, and a separate bathroom and toilet. You’re close to lots of restaurants, shops, and convenience stores, and Okubo Station is just a few minutes away. We’d definitely stay here again!

The room was perfect for my son and I and we really love the view.

Great location in Shinjuku and easy access to surrounding areas. Relatively close to Shinjuku station and not a far walk. Laundry is in the unit and the staff changes out towels and makes the beds every day. They also provide extra detergent pods if you run low. Check-in and check-out were very easy. Highly recommend this hotel.

I loved this little gem of a hotel. The staff is lovely and the hotel is affordable and really clean. The walls are also super thick so you don’t hear the baseball games that might happen across the street. I also loved the location. The street is quiet but metro close and so many places walkable. I’ll certainly stay here again,

Our stay at Hotel Niwa made our Japan trip exceptional! As American travelers in our early 30s, we found this place to be a gem in Tokyo. I always stay at Sotetsu Fresa Takadanobaba whenever I'm in Tokyo, and for good reason. Extremely comfortable stay at onyado nono bettei. The hotel annex just opened in January of 2024 and is very clean and inviting. The service is exemplary and location is prime. Roughly 15 minute walk to asakusa station, 2 minute walk to sensoji temple, and 5 minutes to asakusa view hotel to take a limousine bus to the airport. This was a well-maintained hotel with wonderful staff. The room itself was lovely and has great amenities. The 3 twin room was surprisingly spacious for 3 people. The on-premises restaurant was great too. The location is quiet and spacious which is a nice change from the surrounding metro area. It is literally next to a train station so transit is a breeze. It’s beautiful room. My husband & kids loved here. The location is so convenient with many restaurants nearby, close to station & market with a short walking distance. The park in front of hotel is so beautiful with cherry blossoms. The staff is so friendly & nicely. Front desks are fast service & come to our room to instruct us how to use washer/dryer machine. We will recommend friends staying here & we definitely come bac. Everything is perfect.

Great location in Asakusa! Convenient to multiple train lines, food, shopping and temple grounds. Rooms are bigger than anticipated but minimal storage, no drawers and small closet. Premier lounge was a pleasant surprise and appreciated. 4th floor izakaya style food court was not up to par and disappointing, chose elsewhere to eat. Kobe restaurant is over priced and seldom busy. Uniglo store was a great! Don Quixote is a tourist trap and overpriced! Recommend and would return.

This was a fantastic hotel! The location was incredible - it is walking distance to the Yamanote train line which connects you to other main attractions in Tokyo. There is also tons of great restaurants and shops in the area as well and a convenience store in the heart of the lobby making it easy to grab food, drinks or other supplies.
