Fine place for a stop over

The hotel is in the middle of being taken over, this has restricted the menu. Overall, the place needs to be given a good spruce up and some better matrices for the beds,. The staff are very helpful

Terrible stay

I booked this hotel for one stay as it is near the airport and I had an early morning flight to catch. But I was quite disappointed seeing the condition of the hotel. It looked like it was last cleaned only some years ago. Right from the balcony to the corridors to the rooms the carpet was awful and smelling bad. There was hoads of dust everywhere in the room. The bathroom was too untidy and had dirty water everywhere. The kettle had some dirty particles in it and was smelling too bad.The room was too noisy such that it was difficult to rest there even for few hours. Is in desperate need for a make over. Overall i wasted 90 pounds for just spending few hours here..

Wife and I stayed for a couple of nights and enjoyed the quality and quantity of the food on offer and the service and friendliness of the staff. The property itself could do with a revamp!

Lovely evening meal and friendly staff. Rooms need updating, didnt use shower as it was mouldy but clean, no spare sockets, cheap coffee, breakfast-dont do brown bread!

Hotel location.

We have stayed here before and was told that the hotel was empty as it was out of season and it was being refurbished. Three years on it looks just the same as it was then. Although the staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was lovely, our room was dated, the wallpaper was in need of replacing and it just needed a complete overhaul to bring it up to date. The room was also very noisy as the walls are very thin therefore you could here other visitors in their room. This is a pity as the location of the the Inn was ideal for the purpose of our visit.

Thin walls, squeaky floorboards, bath could do with a rubber mat to stop slipping, and a mat on floor for getting out of shower

Three Night Stay

Comfortable hotel. Excellent food. Very friendly and attentive staff. Good location for exploring the Highlands of Scotland. Would stay again.

It was good for a bed and shower. The building is old and creaky, which didn't bother me, but if you want up-to-date, this wouldn't be for you. I, however, liked the simple charm of the place.

Diable ouvrez les fenêtres ça sent le renfermé! Modifier les éclairages vous passez de l'institut médicolégal à l'estaminet sinistre! Tout le matériel est amorti mais c'est propre Le petit-déjeuner est servi dans une salle plus claire avec du mobilier plus moderne et surtout il est parfait et le service est assurée par une personne efficace et souriante

Check your booking! don't get caught

The hotel is showing it age, the walls are paper thin so avoid if your a light sleeper, The shower almost worked if you run around to get wet. I have stayed here before as it near where I need to go, but it not improved any at all in fact it went backwards, this will be my last stay here. I made a mistake with the booking, my fault, one night too many and I asked to cancel, or partial refund, duty manager no authority, owner would not talk to me on checkout, so had to pay full amount. e-mailed hotel in the following week and was basically told no, full payment no understanding despite the number of times have stayed and always for 2 nights never 3. I understand i have to pay for my mistake and i have but attitude was not and it leaves a bitter taste when you pay for something you don't get or need.

Needs a little tlc, but staff very friendly. Do not go there if you are on a diet! The food was really good, freshly prepared and very tasty. Portions were huge. A nice quiet location. Not our original choice, but a double booking led us here, and glad it did!
