"First time staying with Rakuten. The check in process was a bit weird at first but overall very easy. You check in on a tablet in the room and then you connect to an operator who finalizes your check in. You get a PIN code to enter the room was… pretty easy. The unit was spotless. Very clean. Had everything you need in the kitchen. The onsen was nice. Only thing missing was a view. "

"The property is right up next to the mountain,and will need to drive or make use of the Uzi Bus system to get to the locality ,but this makes it very unique. "

"Room and hot tub are ok. We are 3 people in one room, only two sets bedding, we need to setup the third one by ourselves! The food is not our favorite, both dinner and breakfast! "

"The bathroom was amazing! I did not like that the fireplace was not functional and they should have been communication and compensation regarding that just like the broken massage chair. If no luggage accommodation is going to be offered then alternatives should be proposed! It is silly in a smaller city to not offer luggage drop off. "

Spacious room for a family of 4 and the private onsen on our balcony was a welcoming site after days of walking the streets of Osaka nd Kyoto! While a bit remote, we loved our stay at Hakone Fuga."

"The villa is great. We loved everything about the unit. It was spacious and clean, had lots of amenities, and the private onsen was great. The layout for us (6 people) was awesome. The unit had multiple toilets and places to get ready. The fully equipped kitchen was very much welcomed. While we did not cook, and only heated up store-bought food and cup noodles, there are pots and pans and even an outdoor grill if you want to cook. There is even a vending machine that has limited food options to cook. There are drawbacks, and mainly it is the location. It is not easy to get there with public transportation, there are no convenient store within walking distance and restaurant options are limited. Also this check in was harder than it needed to be. The app/link they sent ahead of time for check in was slow and kept having error, so I ended checking in on the tablet in the room, but that was a bad expereince as well. It took over 45 min for me to self check in, scan passports, type in information etc... But overall, we really enjoyed the time we spent at the Villa and onsen. Great place to relax and decompress and have a rest/slow day. "

"What an amazing hotel. The highlight is the onsen, absolutely incredible. They have 2 onsen rooms, male and female. Both rooms have 2 onsens, indoors and outdoors, as well as a sauna. Changing rooms are clean with hair dryers, towels, lockers and other amenities. Staff were very kind, allowed us to borrow umbrellas when it was raining, they have a giftshop inside too. 10/10"
